Sometimes passementerie can go too far.
I don't know whether to sit in these armchairs or wear one as a peignoir.

ReplyDeleteI agree. These armchairs should pass away. Do you have a date for this photograph? While the general effect of the room seems strange and out of proportion, the one element I covet is the bell-pull. I wonder if it functioned?

My mother used it often. "dressing-gown" doesn't really do it. There is not a word in english......
