  1. I was just thinking about Georges Geffroy after the recent auction of the contents of Helene Rochas' Paris home. The Geffroy-designed bookcase for Alex de Rede's library in Hotel Lambert has long been a model for imaginative cabinetry. Thanks for the heads up for the L-W auction.
