So said couturière Gabrielle "Coco" Chanel (1883-1971), as quoted in The Allure of Chanel by Paul Morand (Pushkin Press, 2008).

So Gabrielle "Coco" Chanel (1883—1971) told photographer Cecil Beaton in 1966.
