Perhaps Coco was right, but I do not think this comment has made any widespread impact on people's dreams of wealth and height. I wonder what she had to say about mirrors.

Wasn't she a Nazi? Or at least strong Nazi-symp?
Coco seems less attractive as the years go by and more information comes out about her anti-semitism,her collaboration with the Nazis (she took a Nazi officer as a lover during the war years) and in the newest publication out this year an accurate account of spying for the Nazis.In any other country she, most likely, would have been executed as a collaborator. A very ugly woman indeed...
